The ultimate goal of our programs is to improve patient health by educating healthcare professionals and contributing to the improvement of practice behaviors.
The experience of our clinical team and advisory board members along with our relationships with faculty and leading medical institutions results in educational content that is independent, scientifically rigorous, and based on thorough needs assessment and gap analyses.
The value and effectiveness of an educational program in closing a knowledge gap is demonstrated through an appropriate level of measurement based on the following outcomes levels:
Level 1: Participation
Measures attendance and the effectiveness of the program at reaching the target audience.
Level 2: Satisfaction
Measures the learner’s perception of the quality of the program including the program’s effectiveness in meeting the learning objectives, the knowledge and presentation of the speakers, the relevance of the information, and the balance and objectivity of the information presented.
Level 3: Learning
Measures the development of competency by defining the impact of the activity in enhancing the learner’s knowledge, skills and/or attitudes relating to the diagnosis and treatment of the condition(s) presented in the program.
Level 4: Performance
Measures changes in practice behavior as a result of the application of what was learned by participating in the program. Clinician perceptions of self-efficacy are often utilized as a proxy for clinical performance.
Level 5: Patient Health Outcomes
Measures changes in the health status of patients due to changes in practice behavior.
